COD: Black Ops Review

Our friends over at Drift Apex has recently published a comprehensive and sincere review of Call of Duty: Black Ops after playing the game for almost two weeks. What do you think about Black Ops? Is it perfect? Read the review to find out what was said.

Significant "victory cannot be achieved without sacrifice," and before that happens, all the world can do is stand still and wait for someone to jump out from the shadows. In any case, what's more important: Getting revenge or following orders? Call of Duty: Black Ops is the seventh main installment of the Call of Duty series, developed by Treyarch and released on November 9, 2010 in the US. The game is rated "mature" by the ESRB and is a multi-platform game in regards to PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. I played this game on the PS3 but my review is meant to apply to the other platforms as well.

Battlefield 3 Talk Scheduled for GDC

At this year's Game Developer Conference (February 28th - March 4th) DICE will be holding a talk titled "Lighting You Up in BATTLEFIELD 3". These lectures are only open to developers, but usually presentation material is posted to the public after the conference. Thanks repi.

Interesting that the actual title of the lecture includes "Battlefield 3", which is not 'officially' announced. If DICE wanted to conceal it, they could have just left it at "Frostbite 2 engine". Wonder if this is a sign that we might see something before GDC.
