Well to improve loading times make a RAID 0 partition, it helps me in every game:P. BF2 had no destructible environment, in BF BC2 almost everything is destructible, trees, bushes, houses even ground i don't think simple replace script can do the job here, that's why it needs to be reloaded every time you start the game. In BF2 there was only couple objects on every map that player was able to destroy and that technology was so simple, it worked like this "object_barrel if collision with object_bullet change to object destroyed_barrel and play explosion_animation with some particle effects" so on map restart it was just a "delete objects destroyed_barrels and place object_barrel here, here and there, it takes a millisecond to do this and that's why there was no noticeable reload time. So this thing is absolutely unchangeable, live with it :-). Cheers

Oh and talking of loading times, er mine sucks btw. and why does it have to load the map again at round switch ? this is getting on my tits, bf2 never had to do this ? imagine it, i have 4 gig of ram. more than 2 gig free while playing, so why please ?? does it have to load the map i was just playing ... rage..its just like the old ps1 days when it was "game over" u had to then load the title screen, then click, then load the options screen, then load the dam game again just to get to where you last was ffs. anyways i am sounding just like avgn now so ill bid u good night
